The Sun Goes Down Over Brooklyn Everyday

This is a very rough video of the sun going down from the end of a queens street as the sun sets over the Brooklyn and Manhattan skyline.

Even though this site is about Brooklyn, sometimes you can get a better view of Brooklyn from the outer boroughs. I just bought this camera so you have to excuse the lousy focus job.

What you will see is a good view of the marsh area that is around the Jamaica Bay wildlife refuge. This was taken in a small town right outside of Brooklyn. Actually most of the marshland that you see is in Brooklyn even though it is close to the Queens shoreline. This is a very rough video of the sun going down from the end of a queens street as the sun sets over the Brooklyn skyline.

If you are a bird lover in New York City I am sure you have heard about the wildlife refuge. It is famous for birds that migrate from north to south every year as a resting spot. There have been many spotting of birds that are rare to the area found here.

If you are planning to visit you can take the "A" train and get off at the Broad Channel station. Anywhere on this island in Jamaica Bay is a great place for taking wildlife and or pictures of the water.

The sunsets here are amazing and if you go to the other side of the island you can get great pictures of the sun rising over JFK airport.

More video will be coming to the site as I get better with the camera. You can see a video of the Brooklyn Bridge here.
