New York Auto Show Highlights

by Vinny on April 9, 2012

Last week I attended the New York Auto Show again. I just love going to see what is coming out in the next year or so. With that being said here are some cars that I can see taking over Brooklyn and the rest of the country.

This is the Shelby 1000 which is the most powerful street legal car there is. I can see this flying down the Belt parkway in the near future. Of course you will need a lot money to get your hands on this.

This is the new 2013 Cadillac ATS. With the CTS-V becoming the car of younger drivers every where around the city we will see this take it’s place. It is so much better than a BMW. Just wait until you see it in person. This is the 3.6L turbo version

Speaking of Red hot red cars here is the new Viper. I don’t think we will see this on the street much as it looks like it cost a small fortune.

These next two cars we are going to see a lot of on the city streets as they will be used to move people around our great city. This is the new Cadillac XTS which is the replacement for all the limo’s and Lincoln town cars that are getting up in age. You will see these on the streets of NY before Halloween hits. This car was sleek, big and comfortable all wrapped in one.

You will see this Cab on the streets very soon as this company won the contract for the new handicap accessible cab. This thing is huge and after looking at it I wonder how it is going to fit on the street.  It looked like a small house. It is much needed and I am glad to see the city doing something to help out people in wheelchairs that have had a hard time navigating the city for years.

There is much more to the show than this and I suggest you take in the show. It is not a far walk from the subway at 8th ave and 34th street. I usually have lunch at the Skylight diner on 9th ave. Good prices and great food.
